Dickies have been known as a boat builder, repairer, engineer, chandler and broker for over a century. Today Dickies International is a premier boat yard, brokerage and the supplier of a range of new boats throughout Europe and beyond.
What we did
Web Design & Development
- We designed the Dickies International site understanding that the focus would always be the boats and that the site would also have to grow with the company.
- We built the site on our intuitive in-house content management system. This allows Dickies to keep their site up to date with all the latest boats in their fleet, manage all content throughout the site and add news to the notice board to keep the content fresh and interesting.
- We integrating a third party boat brokerage system for their used and stock boats.
- We also set up a 'Boat Alert' email. Every time a new boat is added to the database, an email is sent to the subscribers informing them of a boat that they are specifically interested in and directing them to the website.
Email Marketing
- We designed an email template that would lend itself to a newsletter format.
- We developed a monthly email marketing schedule based around events and product launches.
- By using a sophisticated email marketing software integrated with Google Analytics we have been able to deliver thorough data from each campaign. This allows our client to fully assess ROI (Return on Investment) and us to achieve even better results with each subsequent email.
- The entire mailing list was managed via our email software, allowing the registered users to unsubscribe easily at the click of a button.
- With an audience of around 10,000 the Dickies monthly newsletter has an open rate of around 26% and a click through rate of 60% each month. Each visitor from the email spends around 5 minutes browsing boats on the site and reading the latest news and looking at an average of 7.6 pages.
