Boat Maintenance, Fuel Treatment & Teak Care products.
Leisure16 required a site to sell their boat maintenance products. They wanted customers to be able to compare items, sign up to a newsletter and search for specific products. Leisure16 wanted to be able to highlight special offers too, so having complete control over the website was paramount.
What we did
E-Commerce
- We started by designing a logo, which was the building block of the branding and the site.
- The website has been built using the open source e-commerce package Magento that uses simple plug-in applications to expand Magento's capabilities.and proves that you can have an e-commerce site on a budget.
- The website design is based on a Magento template costing $150. The software is easy to configure, allowing you to effortlessly create an e-commerce website on a budget, that still does everything that you need it to.
- The site showcases their boat maintenance products and ranges, allows customers to compare items, sign up to their regular newsletter and search throughout the site for products. The simple back office also enables you to select products that you wish to highlight in the special offers area.

They say that you have to spend money to make money, but what they don't tell you is that you don't have to spend that much to do it.
As a start up, it was important to keep costs down. When I approached Magnetic Works it was great that the option of using a Magento Theme was available. This kept design costs down but still allowed the team to develop me a brand and a fully function e-commerce site.
The website is easy to maintain and update and clearly displays each product and the categories. I am very happy with the job done by the team at Magnetic Works and would be happy to recommend them to anyone looking to get online.
