Update: Magnetic Works launches new Maikai store
Maikai is a venture started by Neven Juretic. The idea came about when Neven was searching Google for iPhone cases. Very quickly he became aware that there weren't any companies specialising in selling high quality designer iPhone cases. Most just sold the cheap market stall style iPhone cases and nothing particularly 'high end' or attractive. And certainly nothing that Neven wanted to put his iPhone into.
What we did
E-Commerce
- The site operates on the open source, feature rich e-commerce platform Magento.
- Site automatically detects user browsing site with an iPhone and shows iPhone version.
- Easily manage products, customers and sales through the Magento back office.
- The Amazon and eBay shops have also been integrated into the site, which allows us to fulfil orders from multi sales channels, through one central back office system.
- The site was designed around an existing Magento Theme, but customised to improve customer experience.
Search Engine Optimisation
- At launch, the site was new and untouched with regards to marketing. We needed to develop an online marketing plan that would quickly see site traffic growth.
- A campaign of link-building was developed to promote the main, lucrative keyword for the site: "iphone cases".
- We researched link opportunities and built a list potential places to approach to develop the website's search profile.
- Employing various techniques to acquire links for the site, we saw quick increase in traffic for relevant keywords.
- The SEO carried out for the site put Maikai on page one for iPhone Cases and iPhone Covers.
