We were approached by Pogo, another Brighton based Agency, to develop an 'out of the box' e-commerce website for Nexus Euro. At the time Nexus Euro had a website, but they weren't actually selling anything through the site. We felt that they were missing a trick here.
Nexus, The Educators Connection, design and develop unique products in partnership with educational consultants who consider new ideas to help deliver the national curriculum. Nexus demonstrations enable the products to be used to their full educational potential.
What we did
E-Commerce
- We developed a simple e-commerce solution using Magento.
- Pogo provided us with template based designs, which allowed us to customise Magento easily with a clean and fresh design that would give them not only a professional profile but also enable them to capitalise on the website sales that they were missing.
- We integrated eBay into the store so that Nexus could start capitalising on this additional revenue stream and manage all sales via one back office.
- The site now has an intuitive and user friendly navigation.
- Nexus now have complete control over web contents and sales.
- The website had it's first sale within hours of going live!
- Since launch we have added a new store to the back office for their Irish audience, with the same products but with all prices in Euros.
