My path has delivered me into the arms of Magnetic Works with a number or twists and turns. Originally, back when I was fresh out of school many moons ago, I had ideas about building satellites and space shuttles and actually studied Physics at University of Salford for a while but that was not to be.
I then worked for the British Film Institutes National Film & Television Archive which happened to be conveniently situated in my home town. After spending five happy years working in film restoration, I moved on as the seaside was calling me and a relocation to Brighton beckoned.
There with a clean slate and an open mind, I found an opportunity to work in online marketing and with my usual aptitude for soaking up technical information like a sponge, I quickly developed an understanding of online marketing ideas and concepts. SEO, link building, and PPC were my main forte and this base was expanded when I was given the position of marketing Manager for Juretic Media, taking in social media, affiliate marketing, web analytics, blogging, HTML coding and a wealth of marketing-related disciplines.
Fast forward to today and I find myself setting up Magnetic Works with Ed, Jen, and Vicki. I can honestly say, my path to this point in my life hasn't been as straight forward as others in a similar position may have experienced, but I think that is the key to my abilities - the mixture of experiences and an open-mindedness to explore and evaluate different opportunities to achieve the best outcome.
I'm looking to the future with Magnetic Works, and looking forward to developing mine and our collective abilities and offerings, bringing more to the table for all Magnetic Works clients, current and new.
